This policy explains what personal data The Admission Guider collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we are

The Admission Guider is an independent admissions counselling service based at Office 208, Metro House Co-op Society, Mangaldas Road, Pune 411001. You can reach us at theadmissionguider2007@gmail.com or +91 90111 52828. For the purposes of the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary for the information described below.

What we collect, and why

The only personal data this website collects is what you type into the enquiry form on our contact page:

  • Name, phone number and email address — so an admission counsellor can reply to you.
  • Programme of interest and preferred state — so we can route your enquiry to the right counsellor.
  • Your message — which may contain a NEET score, a budget, or colleges you are considering, if you choose to tell us.

We ask for this so that we can respond to your enquiry. That is the only purpose. We do not use it to build a profile, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with medical colleges or any other third party without asking you first.

How your enquiry reaches us

The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which processes the submission on our behalf and does not retain it for its own purposes. Your message travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are actively helping you, and for up to 24 months afterwards so that we can pick up a conversation if you return in a later admission cycle. After that it is deleted.

Analytics and cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing is stored on your device. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

Two third parties do see your browser’s IP address as a normal consequence of serving the page: Google Fonts (which serves our typefaces) and OpenStreetMap (which renders the map on our contact page).

Your rights under the DPDP Act

You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or erase it. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and you may nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. To do any of this, email theadmissionguider2007@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Many of our enquiries come from students who are under 18. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian submit the form, or ask them to be present when you do. We will not knowingly process a child’s personal data without verifiable parental consent, and we never use it for tracking or advertising.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
